MSP turbo help/questions??

Alright so I have a MSP and I need a little turbo help. I want to replace the stock GT2554 turbo on it currently, well in all honesty I want to rebuild it but from what I have heard you can not rebuild these specific turbos. BUT I have also heard that it is possible to swap out the internals of the turbo from the GT2554 to a GT28 "Disco Potato". Is that possible? If not is there anyone in here that could refer me to someone that is selling a turbo or anything in that nature? lol. Sorry for all the questions just trying to get it all out at once.

Give me some opinions/feedback and options that you would suggest.

You can buy the center cartridge (CHRA) from a GT28 (used to be called the MPNick upgrade) or just get a GT25 CHRA. Or you can buy a new T28 or larger or find a low mileage used T25.

just do the chra and your good to go. You might also wanna check your oil cooler line and make sure its not leaking
