ms6 driving experiences

Hello all, this is the first thread I've ever made. I'm in Afghanistan bored and would like to take the time to tell everyone about my ms6 experiences and here all of yours as well.

I got my car January of 2009 right out of basic training for 17k with 17000 miles on it. I was originally looking for an ms3 for under 20k. I was at the third mazda dealership searching when I saw the ms6. my first impressions on the exterior and interior were superb, I asked the dealer for a test drive and off we went. I already drove 2 ms3s before this so I could compare pretty well. I took it out, drove it back and drove off with it that night.

Since I've had the car I've put close to 40000 miles on it in one year. Its been nothing but perfect the whole time. All I did was the things it told me to in the owners manual and drive hard every second. some examples of the things I've put the car through are 100+ mph drives for 550 miles EVERY weekend for about a half a year. (I slowed it down to 80 mph after a few close calls with the police.) Between those drives were hundreds of hard launches. multiple times rallying the thing on gravel/ Dirt hills and backroads in Ohio as fast as I could push it without sliding of, sliding every corner with perfect amounts of oversteer with the light push of the quality gas pedal, and e braking hairpins in first gear. on the pavement I've felt nothing but the perfect amount of under and oversteer, I've been on what I thought was the verge of fish tailing on the windy roads in nj hills but was pulled out perfectly by the ms6s awd system. The brakes on this vehicle are beyond excellence. I can't push the thing hard enough to find the limit of the brakes. the chassis has a bit of body roll but its nice in a way. The only time I've ever felt any understeer was on a 90 degree turn with some bad tires up front (eagle gts) and pirrelis in the back. (2 tires blew out on a damn nj pothole.)
now talking about winter driving. being stationed in upstate NY you can take it from me. The ms6 owns the snow and ice. but I've noticed the tail likes to whip out and go into drift mode more with dsc on.
On the highway I've raced two ms3s, one mustang gt, two sti's, one 350z, and a mercedez c350 (that was 140+ mph fun for 50 miles but it was sloww.) and a Nissan maxima or altima ser forgot which one. And I honestly say. I've beaten them ALL. My mods are Cobb AP stage 2+, aem cai forge bpv act flywheel and street clutch stage 2 sts full 3 inch single exhaust su bone engine mount and recently added before deployment. And best purchase. 18x8 +38 momo gtr wheels with 245/40 falken 912. me and a ms3 were going all out 120+ around a highway turn and he was on the edge of his seat staying at a certain mph and I was relaxing pushing for more. For anyone who owns a ms6 or ms3 PLEASE GET SOME 18x8+ 38 wheels and 245s. I have a cpe fmic and bc coilovers waiting for when I get back. drivetrain is mint and I never had a problem with my rear diff but I will get new mounts one day. I love my ms6 sport! I had the clutch tsb done also. I hope you all enjoyed my experience! I bought it with 17000 miles and now have 53000 on it. That was in a year lol. No problems at all. Except for a popped ball joint

If you're serving over there right now, thanks, God speed and come home safe.

And least important, I'm really enjoying my 6 as well. More than expected with some simple bolt ons. I just picked up some slicks and can't wait to see what it can do on the track.
