Dont ride out 4th gear, switch into 5th at 5800 rpms. from what i heard ppl were getting .4 off their time.

so shift about 5800 into 5th at the top end. what is everybody doing to launch and for the other gears, just shifting at red line?

Yup...that was my mistake I guess. I ran 14.2 with riding out 4th. Next weekend, I'm going to 5th.

I don't wanna kill my car, so I launched around 3500-4000 RPM.

Red line for first, then about 500-1000 RPM below it for 2nd, 3rd.

I think that's p5freek, he lauches at like 5500 RPM.

He's not stock, he has an exhaust cutout, upped the boost, fmic and I think an intake too...

Yup...those mods are correct. He has a MBC that holds the boost, where a stock car starts to drop a few psi in the upper RPMS.
