MP3 Clinches Regional SCCA Title

Ok, after the 2-day superweekend this past weekend in Columbus, IN, I and the mighty MP3 have clinched the GStock AND Overall championship for the season in my home SCCA SoloII/Rally region. With one event left, a rally, we are 6 points ahead and the most points to be gained by any of the others is 2.
Thanks to everyone on here for the help and the great ideas.
Can't wait to see what comes up next season! Maybe someone will show up in a Mazdaspeed and make me work for it!
Just wanted to let everone know about the little blue car that could, AND DID!

CONGRATS!!!!!

make sure you post a link or something to the official results of the event, so we can pass it around and show just how good the MP3 can be!!!!! (with an excellent driver of course ;) )

Ok, here is a link to the site. Just click on the 'Solo Events and Results' link on the left side. It's in PDF format. The most recent races are at the top.
Our region uses PAX times for overall points. It actually was a pretty close year. I'd been battling with a guy that has about 10 different cars in his stable. He's a hell of a driver, and he could pretty much whoop me any time he really laid into it, but I think we(me and Blue) finally got it figured out this past weekend!
I missed one event in September. I had a horrible showing at Nationals and was thoroughly depressed so I missed the local event the rest of that month to take time off and think about it. That made the race REALLY close at the end, but we only count the best 7 events.
Thanks again for the support and info guys! (and gals!)

Congratulations! Just to let you know that up here in Canada I have had a great rookie season as well. We have slightly different classes but I took 1st place in E Stock and received a beautiful trophy at the awards banquet this past weekend. No overall championship as we don't use adjusted times here, only raw time which means that I'm at a "slight" disadvantage to those running with R-Compound tires in full out modified beasts. :)

Scary part is, even on raw times I was often able to beat the mod cars. That really seems to bug the hell out of guys that build a car from the ground up to do nothing but SOLO II. It is fun beating them though. :)
