Moter mounts?

Hey Ken,

As a veteran of AWR front and Rear mounts on the Speed Protege, can you give a solid opinion of how much noise/vibration is introduced into the MS6 if any with the AWR mount?

your best bet is to PM members Trees and jcgemt2003 for thier opinions of it. my opinion is that it was about the same as the AWR mount for the mazdaspeed3, which is to say that the throttle response was much improved, as was shifting transitions. its only one mount, and i have 95 duro on all four corners in my protege so for me to compare probably is not accurate for most people :)

we put an 88 durometer mount into the car

I would agree with Ken about the shifting transitions and throttle response improved... also I was impressed that it did not seem to add much more vibration through the steering wheel (Exp 88 durometer). And one more thing jcgemt2003's car is (boobs) (boobs2) to drive. Thanks Jason.

Thanks a lot you 2........ I guess I'm gonna order the 88 from mazda6online...... I just wanted to make sure because the site just says 70 durometer (softest) and 88 durometer (stiffest) but I don't want to get a bone rattling vibration in my car.......so I'm having a hard time....... I think I'll get after I have my TSB clutch job done.....

we had a MS6 come in to the shop a couple days ago and we made a SOLID Trans mount

what's the durometer setting?

$80 is a tad much when I'd spend like $65 for 88 durometer.......
