Minerva Engine Mounts???

Has anyone had an issue with this company? I heard from them up until I paid and I haven't seen my engine mounts nor heard from them since... not too concerned yet but need to check with Paypal and my credit card company in case I need to move on getting charges reversed before it is too late if something is "not quite right" with my order...

I REALLLLLLY hope that I get these mounts and something is just taking a little long... Anyone have any shipping experience with them? The mounts look SWEET so I really want them...

I ordered mine October 15th and still havent gotten them. I ordered a full four piece set from them. They immeadiately took the money out of my bank account, and then I received an email saying one or more parts were backordered. I waited a week or so and heard nothing from them so I decided to contact their customer service. It took about 5 hours before I received a response from them. They told me that October has been a very busy month and have seen a signifigant increase in customer orders. They were very helpful (and apologetic) they told me they would contact me as soon as the mounts came in, and again when they shipped them out for delivery. I got an email last friday saying they came in and would be sending them out Saturday. Im guessing I'll be receiving them sometime this week. Try contacting them via email on their contact section on the website. They respond fairly quickly and give you a full update on the whole process of your order.

I believe I paid for mine on the 5th of October and have tried to contact them for an update at least twice. I have used the online form at least once or twice. Let me know when you receive yours and I will do the same. These are holding up my entire project... I didn't know it would take a month to get them, but they look and sound worth it...

after everything that medieval put this forum through, i'm surprised that they are still being recommended on this forum. sure, he'll give you a discount if you mention him you saw a review on THIS forum, since he's banned here. a quick search for "Medieval" or "Darkstar" will show you why.

Yeah they are holding up my car too.. I have a FMIC kit waiting to go in, but my mounts are gone so I want to get them installed prior to anything else. Well I contacted them once again before I went into work yesterday evening, and I woke up to a response from them this morning. It said they were just as anxious for the mounts to arrive as much as I was and that "SOMETIMES" usps screws up the shipping and that they have had problems in the past with that. I legitimately think I am going to get them its just a matter of when. :/

Exactly the same email I got from them, I highly doubt the USPS screws up that often from the same business... if they have supply issues I'd rather know it. I will probably email them once more, there was no tracking number to state that anything ever got shipped... when it costs 50 cents for tracking info there is no reason not to have it on anything that costs over $20... so $250 is a no brainer. I am still uneasy about this transaction because of this fact, but again the mounts appear to be really nice (If they show up)... This is my daily driver and other cars are not street legal so if it is going to be more than a week I may have to cancel and order something else... which I don't want to do.

more than likely its a production issue. Way back when I ordered mine, It took a while, and then I only got 3 instead of 4. I made a paypal claim, and then he mentioned how they were out of that particular mount at the time, but he went ahead and sent the 3 so that I wouldn't have to be waiting for that long. Would have been nice if he would have kept me updated ahead of time to avoid confusion, but in the end I got my 4th mount, and a PS pulley.

I've heard quite a few stories about Minerva / Medieval / Whateverthefuckhecallshiscompanynow buuuuuut I bought 3 mounts from him and received them no problem so I guess it's just luck of the draw with them.

Yeah I've heard from quite a few people on here that the mounts are pretty good (a hell of a lot better than stock ones at least) and that you can't beat it for the price. So obviously people are getting them, I just never expected it to take so long. Supposedly they shipped mine out over a week ago, and I still haven't got anything in the mail. I figured I'd give it some time and be a little more patient. But yeah I received an email from them saying they only had 3 of them in stock, and that i would be getting the passenger side mount seperately once it comes back from powder coating. That just so happens to be my worst mount. Lol but im anxious to get them and actually install them so I can move on with other things.

Haha so I've heard.. The vibrations and shaking can be pretty bad right now, keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't make it much worse once they're actually broke in

They calm down some. I remember when I first put mine in it made the engine sound much better when zipping down the roads imo.

I picked up all 4 from them, but the only problem was the powdercoat had chipped off. Other than that they are running strong.

Yeah the PC is thin, I chipped some of it off installing them but they have otherwise held up well going on 20k miles later.

When I replaced my broken passenger side mount with the Minerva 70 durometer, I actually noticed a decrease in vibration LOL. Though once the rear mount was replaced it was back to shaky town. It's not all that bad unless you are idling with the A/C on. But I gotta say, it is one of the best mods performance wise.

Well I have finally came to the conclusion that these mounts are not for me.. I've been patient and polite through emails with Minerva's customer service and it is getting me nowhere. My car needs mounts and I want them before more damage may be done. This company has done nothing but give me the runaround and I feel they are not being honest. I ordered them over a month ago and I've yet to recieve anything. A good company would of waited to take the money out of my account but they immeadiately took the money and then notified me the mounts were back ordered. Rather than take responsibility and be honest they blame the postal service for losing my package. (just so happened to tell Jason94cobra the exact same thing). They finally email me a tracking number which turned out to be fake. USPS has no record of the tracking number in their database. The company now tells me there will be at least a three week waiting period to get a set of mounts packaged and shipped out. I don't have time to play games nor do I want to. I'm going to see about getting the charges reversed and take my business elsewhere. I may have to pay a little more but it could potentially save me money down the road waiting for these mounts that just do not seem to arrive. I appreciate everyone's help and to the people that recommended them to me, trying to help me save a few bucks, but I'm just over the BS and need to move on with other projects for the car. (getting my FMIC and turboxs bov installed!!)
