This sucks to have to tell this story but unfortunately I have been ripped off...

I started dealing with TOM (KING13) a couple weeks ago. Some of you may know him as the member with the turbo charged 3. I thought he was an upstanding guy but I was wrong.

We worked out a deal where I would buy him a set of nexus gauges $800 and in return he would send me a set of 5zigen and neo gen tires..,

The gauges were purchased through HIS contact KEN at mazda3online (Captain KRM P5 on these boards). My gauges were shipped to me as per my instruction. Toms (king13) were to be shipped to him however he and KEN worked it out. Tom was adamant about how he wanted his delivered. He took the time to tell me about all the other items he has had stolen.

My gauges arrived shortly after. Tom (king) has still not sent my wheels at this time. I was given a story about him not being able to pick them up yet. Fine I thought.
He then goes and picks up the wheels (according to him) but cant find the time to ship them .

Yesterday I get a panicked call from KING saying his gauges WERE DELIVERED but werent at the door when he got home.

Now he is saying that since he doesnt have his gauges even though they were paid for by me and delivered by fed ex 029341300347996 that he wont send me my wheels.

Tom then went on a 10 minute curse laden rant screaming into the phone once I asked him to uphold his end of the deal and send me the wheels.

And he basically told me to get on a plane fly to his house and get my wheels. And to fuk off.

He is also refusing to file a police report which makes no sense to Ken (mazda3online) and me.

I have also spoken with Ken at mazda3online who says tom is leaving verbally abusive messages on his phone threatening him.

So I am basically out $800.

This is all very unfortunate as I really thought Tom was a good guy and had a good standing on these boards and in the Mazda community. It really has me feeling terrible knowing I have been ripped off.

Please watch out..

This really sucks, but can't you guys file a claim with FedEx????

1) let's slow down here.
2) What is the timeframe between the date the agreement was made and now???
3) If the gauges were delivered by FEDEX, but were not in the package, file a claim with FEDEX. Hopefully you sent it as insured.
4) If FEDEX wont help, find someone local to KING... to help you mediate the situation by either checking to see if he actually got the gauges, and to assist him in sending the tires out.

I know its difficult, but the more you keep your cool on this, the better it will turn out. Ken is a standup guy and i have no doubts that you will get this resolved once we get some more information.

more details on my end will come as they are available. i am presenting all documentation on this sale to the police department tonight.

PR??

Isn't he from virgina? Anyway, using that tracking # you can see he's from Quantico, VA.

That's what I hate about FedEx. When I purchased my Axela badged, they also left the package at my front door. How stupid is that? I don't live in such a bad area, but it's definately not a place where I'd want a package left all day at my front door. Matter of fact, it wasn't there when I got home :(

ouch that sucks... am involved with the gb for the flywheel set up by king...???... i would think since he is just the middle man with this things should be alright...

you guys are right, he is from VA. i got him confused with the other guy with a turbo, Xenon929.
in any case, fedes does blow about delivering when not one home. my roommate got his package delivered to the neighbors house, because thats better than leaving it on the door, right?
i like how USPS asks you where would you like packages delivered if no one home, i asked them to drop it around the house, in the back porch.

u see that why if your ever gonna send anything over 100 dollar's via DHL,FEDexor UPs u should always have any type package worth that much signature REQ. because they only get insured for a hunderd dollars unless u make a claim of how much it's worth.
i am a driver for DHL and to me if it's anything that is gonna b worth alot or it is an unsafe area i dont leave it unless the coustomer leave's me letter or a tag signed and also it is up to the driver to judge whether to leave it or not. but sometime's we are in such a hurry that we dont even pay attention.

i have lost packages and let me tell u it suck's ass. they will hunt the driver down like a dog.

if u wanna no here it goes

i lost a surf board yes i no it fckn big as box but the area was safe and i fckn left it 2 houses down and they guy called said he didn't get his board so i went back to the house and a old man answerd let me walk in the house and found notting so what happend the dude that bouht it traked it down and saw it was left at the worng house and pic it up filled a claim to get free money. what an ass

a 500 dollar camera

this one to i could not tell what it was and i left it over this dude's house. went back to get it and the fcker said notting was left there. asshole stole it in a matter of min's right after the page me to go back and get it

that 2 of my biggest loses
well if i were u
anything u send out get a signature for it.
it is the best way to ensure the safety of your package.

the agreement was made 7/26 Gauges also purchased same night.
Agreement being I purchase the gauges(i did) and tom would send me the wheels.( he didnt)
The agreement wasnt for me to purchasing the gauges then take them to his house with armed guards to make sure they didnt get taken from his door step.

Toms gauges were deliverd by fedex yesterday. Tom was to work out the delivery details with ken for his gauges. And apparently all was well. The gauges were delevered Yesterday..

I offered several times to Tom that if he takes the wheels to a freight company and have them boxed and shipped I would pay for it.
I even offered to send him the boxes.

Tom also refuses to file a police report for the "stolen" gauges.

Ken Has been a great help and I am sorry Tom chose him to drag into this. Hopefully the right thing is done here.

If Tom had sent me the wheels and they were stolen from my doorstep I sure wouldnt be holding it against him.. Id be upset with myself for not making proper shipping arrangements.

I still have a bit of hope he may use rational thought and do the right thing.

well it also said "signature service not requested", whats up with that?

it means he has filed a form with fedex stating that he does not wish to sign for packages at his door. that is a service you must specifically request. fedex does not just leave packages of this value. he would have had to file a form in advance with fedex authorizing them to deliver without his signature.

wish me luck everyone - leaving for the PD now. i will post the story when i return. Brian has been tremendous and rational from the get go on this matter. tom has been a loose cannon who has resorted now to leaving message after message, all inflammatory, on all of my phone lines. he has also made it a point now to call using an unidentifiable number, even by caller id.

I am of course going to assist Brian in any way I can and help cover his loss here as best I can.

I was also called by an unidentifiable number by someone claiming to be from the junior police academy using a cartoon like voice.
