Mazdaspeed2oo35 Video

Mazdaspeed2oo35

600whp - 600wtq at 30 PSI
Here is a small video of my car, and how performs... I couldn't do any better, its really hard to hold the steering wheel, keep the car and my eyes the road as well as holding the camera at the same time, i'll try next time to do better and longer runs, also some launching runs. I also need somebody to do the recording for me to do better...

i was half throttling the first 3 gears barely had traction and missed 2nd gear as well i was going uphill in the highway.. let's see how better i can do next time with a partner recording..

Let me know what you guys think, positive and negative feedback are welcome !!!!!

Looks like you need to run slicks all day long. :)

Yeah man.. but what i really need is somebody else to record me so i can do better overall, is not easy to do everything at the same time, i need both of my hands to do better shift's, and to look at the road and go hardcore... also they were a few Highway patrols around.. didn't wanted to risk my license points and much less pay a crazy ass speeding ticket..

awesome man. glad to see it running. and running well. wish mine were up. only in time.. dammit.

Thanks bro. i still need to fix a mayor ass leak i have in the IM, but im not going to fix it right now because 505zoom Intake Manifold is coming in,, and after that i'll be heading to the 30+ PSI daily. that's where im going to stop..

so i if i were to take my car to a reputable shop and say "rebuild my engine so it can support 25 PSI" what kinda quote do you think they would give me? lol. I am just curious. In other words how much have you spent on the engine so far?

Thank god for rev-limiters! Are you still running those Nankangs? All that money invested with some good rubber you can actually get traction.

I love my BFG G-force KDWs once I get rolling I can't break them loose (I know I'm not near the power you have but).
The extra money is worth it since you don't just sit there burning them up all the time!

30+ psi daily.... So you'll be running what? 9's? lol jk. That is one hell of a beast you have there man. Great job.

yeah bro, i need better tires, but you can't beat the price i bought my 4 pairs of tires.. i paid $ 45 each tires, so now you know why im running nankangs and until when...

about rev limited, my engine and head are blue printed and balance to go all the way up to 8.3k, double harder valve springs etc.. but i won't change anything tunning wise until i get my 505zoom IM and up the boost to 30-32 psi.. i'll need to retune the car for that.. so until today all i can say, no matter what you see in that video, the car feels insanely fast, i'll make a video of how fast s*** around look...trust me i did a lot holding that damn camera with 2 fingers... lol lol lol

Dude Falken Azenis will give you traction. Can't wait to see the better videos, try and get someone to be on the side of the road somewhere, get a couple fly by vids. Low gears and high speed fly by.

And damn you missed 2nd lol. Must be fun being able to turn the boost up and down to whatever you want w/o worrying about blowing the motor.
You really think its gonna be ok at 30 or over 30psi? Kinda risky but I don't know.

spinhouse <3 that thing is moving nicely, can't wait to see what kind of numbers it puts down.

Well you have to take in consideration that boosting 25 PSI on a 28RS Turbo is not the same in a bigger turbo, you need to have more performance mods and a good tune to back that amount of power and psi up.

About the shop, i like to be honest and fair here people, TBK Performance and Hiboost are one if not the best shop's modifying Mazda's in my opinion and with the respect all of the people are reading and so the shop owners, even tho their Customer Service and Customer assistance is a peace of you know what, and all of the nasty s*** they've done to my family, they've done a hell of a good work to my car and the proof is here, i mean i don't consider my car the best in any aspect but sure feel im a little different from others, boosting 25-30 psi as a daily manner in a protege is hard to see this days, i don't drive her everyday anymore, only weekends, I have invested in my car since day 1 i bought her back at October 2003 around $ 25,000. but that includes parts i've changed 2-3 times, like better suspension, better this, better that you know. for me have been well worth the money because this days you don't buy anything performance wise like it for the same amount of money, plus is more fun and unique to build it your way.. just my .02

I know of maybe 2 other proteges that are or have ever boosted that high. One day my speedometer will be able to do what yours did in the video. But those days are a few years away... lol.

Guesstimating, last dyno TBK did at 15 psi, without methanol, adjustable cam gears, bigger injectors and a less aggressive street tune the car did 372whp on pump gas, now i'm boosting 25 PSI with the parts mentioned above and a very more aggressive street tune Manuel did i can guess im around 425-430whp or a lil of bit more or could be less, i could be wrong but hey this is guesstimating anyways... i need to dyno the car again, im trying to call my friend who have a shop with his own dyno to see what im putting down, but that bastard haven't come back from Argentina Yet.... Will see when he comes back

Well, when i said daily i mean not a track car, you know a car you can drive everyday if you need to, i don't drive her here daily anymore, i have my daily beater. i only use her on the weekends and i don't race her hard every weekend neither. i take good care of her and do constant maintenance using top quality fluids... if you don't take care of her, she sure won't take good care of you !!!!

9's i wish man, only the Crazy Puerto Rican's can go that insane, i don't even know how the hell they do it but, they are there and driving them around the island.. im scare to take it to the track, because in order to do good numbers you need slicks, and slick can lead to some s*** breaking, i rather to have the benefit of doubt and spin some tires, than griping like a mofo and break my car.. i really don't need to know any numbers, Psi and the way it feels says it all, at least to me. I' am not looking to break any records or to be on any magazine, i just want to have fun with it..
