Mazdaspeed20035 let me know how that head gasket install goes.I installed the low compression gasket (.074) I believe, along with custom integral cams and my car has a serious lack of power off boost.I cant be for certain if it was the result of the head gasket but i dont know anyone else who has installed such a thick gasket.Good luck with the build and let me know how everything goes.

You need to adjust your timing curve to compensate for lost power out of boost.
