Will a mazdaspeed protege intake manifold fit a protege5? Any differences?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

youre better off using a 626IM as it does not have the buttefly flaps in it. you lose some low end torque. but gain more power in high mid-range to top end .

FSZE would be absurdly hard to come by and even if you did you would need to use it's ECU to take advantage of the better VTCS (or VICS can't remember) system.

Ya, fsze intake is pointless and will cost more than its worth and be more headache than you realize

Not really hard to come by, I happen to have a nice fresh one in my attic in a box. Anyone interested can make offers. I has sportauto car and simply stopped at P&P with vtcs removed on my car because of the other necessities to take advantage of the fsze.

Well if you managed to get one then you're the exception because I've seen many people get a FS-ZE imported for the swap and they don't even come with the intake manifold. But regardless there is no point unless you have the supporting equipment to utilze the FS-ZE IM properly. If he wants a badass IM then he'll either have to wait for a 505IM to pop up in the FS section or wait for round 3 to get going, or make one himself which doesn't seem to be an option.
