Mazdaspeed axle-back fit a P5?

OK, here's the deal...

I got a great deal (free) Mazdaspeed axle-back from a member who has an '03 Mazdaspeed Protege'. I'm trying to figure out if it will fit properly on an '02 P5. From the pics on the Racing Beat site, it looks identical.

Has anybody attempted this?
The pic below is of the actual axhaust that I have.
I want to mount this Monday evening, and really hoping it will work out!

that is not a $449 Racing Beat Exhaust. It is the MSP Exhaust. Totally different. Not the cat-bak you are looking for. And yes, you will have to shorten the tip for that one.

the one on my msp has broken 3 times. that part where the bracket is cracked and split open. mazda has replaced it every time. maybe it wont on a NA protege

Yes, I'm aware of that. It's FREE and it's better than stock. However, it IS a Mazdaspeed axel-back and it IS made by Racing Beat.

Thanks for that link... but to the others: I typed in Mazdaspeed exhaust in the search, and a ton of stuff came up, none of what I wanted to know. Contrary to what I'm always reading, the search is NOT always your best friend! Besides, if everyone does searches, there would never be any new threads, as this is all pretty much repeated info eventually.

What works for me is telling it only to search certain forums (like if ur looking for Mazdaspeed axleback, tell it to only look in the P5 forums), and have it "search titles only," cuz if you don't, it brings up every thread with those words in it.

Sounds great, looks great! I had my guys at Affordable Muffler (Cleveland) do the install. They ROCK! Put it on, cut the rear tip section to fit properly (thanks for the advice here, guys!) and it's perfect. All for $25.00 cash. I so recommend this place.

Okay, okay... I'll post them soon. My digital camera is messed up (a cheap one)... now I have to decide: a new digital camera or a new set of Mazdaspeed lowering springs for the P5! Help? Hehehehe...
