Mazda5 Front Center Console / Storage

First time Mazda buyer and poster here. Just got a 2012 Mazda 5 Sport (automatic). I'm underwhelmed by the amount of available storage in the front area and would like to beef it up. Does anyone have any experience adding an after market center console box or making their own?

Here's one that the vendor claims fits the Mazda 5 but I haven't measured yet. Would prefer not to remove the stock arm rests.

Hi there,
Did you end up ordering this? Did it fit well? I'm looking for one too, i don't like the armrests on the seats, i would prefer a console to rest my arm on.
