*PHEW* just got back from the emissions place and she passed. By a lot. Apparently, having a functioning cat is a good thing lol. Next step: Tag office. at 9:00 tomorrow morning. So much for sleeping in...

EDIT: Stopped by the main office to pick up another package. Russell brake lines:

EDIT: Weeeelll, apparently all tag offices in Georgia are closed tomorrow. Temp. tag runs out tomorrow too, so I guess she's parked until next weekend unless I can take a couple hours off of work this week. Lame.

By next season? You need to make an SM2 beast like that green one that showed up to an event late in the season. So long as you don't move to STS2, I'll be happy. I'm gonna get beat bad enough as it is lol

Edit: Is the Mister t00 legal for STS2? I don't know their displacement or diff situation.

Something about something a mechanic friend told me.............

I would have to say that mechanic friend is correct

Example Excluded Automobiles:
BMW M3 E46
BMW M5 E39
Datsun Z-car 2+2
Honda CRX
Lotus (all)
Porsche (all)
Mazda Miata (99+)
MGB GT
Toyota MR2 (91-95)
Toyota MR2 Spyder (00+)
Triumph (all)

Thats odd it lists the CRX as being excluded but then goes on to give example cars for different classes and lists the crx for STS2

The list in the rulebook was all messed up since they tried to combine all the different ST classes excluded and included cars.

The best reference for STS2/STU cars is this one.
http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/File/streettouringsupplementalclasses.pdf

STS2*

following exceptions:

cars”)

aspirated)

• Mazda RX-7 non-turbo (’79-’92)

Excluded Automobiles
• Lotus (all)
• Mazda Miata (‘99+)

I see it in the rules, but that doesn't answer the "why" lol. Are they just that awesome? ;0

Skeered of MR layout. I guess they wanted to create another "old car" class.

I suppose that there are folks in the "know" that are worried that the MRS will outperform those cars requiring 4 wheels on the ground.

If they let MR2s in, I guess we'll just have to give every1 else t3h n4wzzz so we can be fast3r t00!

w00t! I'll have to do the "Put the tag on the back" mod when I get home tonight. Just got that this morning, and with any luck this weekend, the 1st few things can go on (probably brakes, maybe the seat).

The saga begins.
