want to know what the best mod to do at first, what first part is worth changin
under 1k$

TMIC, cp-e ems, downpipe/catback combo all are under 1k each and give the best gains

i will never know what the problem was but the wastegate was for 18psi and if it spiked that could have did it

buy the motor mike itll cost u alot but itll save u alot of trouble. im waiting till th spring to do anything else.. by then there should be alot of products that are being said to come out finally out..

why even get this turbo if you have to keep the boost down. It says on ATPs site "should only be used on this engine if you plan to exceed 450 crank HP (or go over 22 psi of boost)."

atp should have added..."and if you run over 22psi without a forged shortblock, you will be buying one soon"

This turbo makes alot of power. Their are guys on this site running it un tuned but i believe they are staying around 15psi or lower. ATP sends you an 18psi wastegate with the kit so if your not careful you can hit spikes and possibly damage something.

I bought the turbo because im going all out with this car and it would be a waste to buy a 3071r and then need to pay money to upgrade to the 76 when I get tired of the 71's max power level

i bought this turbo cuz my stock turbo smokes to much to the point i can't have the car on on a stop light. i didn't bought the 71 cuz i am going to buy piston and rods! whats the diff between those 5k blocks and puting pston and rods in your engine? also there is a guy that is runing it and has beed for long time! all he said was the wastegate its set to 23psi not 18 psi, i dont know how to set it at 18 psi but ill find out!

manual boost controller....

you must get the ATP boost cut killer module too. just do it. no questions asked. if you don't you're just plain dumb.

I got the cpe EMS so no need for that, also you cannot use any boost controler to control boost under whats the wastegate is set too
