lookin for coilovers springs

ive been searching for some adjustable coilovers for my speed. i havent found much. i was wonder what is the best suggested product to go with for the price, ride, and drop.

thanks, george

JIC Magic. The best.

If you want true adjustable coilovers, then JIC and Tein are pretty much the only options. Rishie(ARD MP5) is an authorized JIC dealer, and I'm sure he can tell you all you want to know about this unbelievable suspension.

Here's a JIC LINK

Ouch those are nice but the prices are kinda hard to touch right now. i figured just some decent springs would do for now. i just want to be able to drop it. i plan on using air suspension later going for show more than go.

First welcome to the forums:D. I understand that you said you are looking for a set of coilover springs.(IE skunk2) Any set made for a Protege from 01 on will work for your car. But, I have seen these and most are of poor quality and will destroy your stock suspension. They also make lots of annoying noises. If I were in your position and wanted just the lowered look I would just get springs. If you want full adjustablity go with real coilover suspension like Jic-Magic or Tein which are avialable for this car. The speed already has suspension to be admired. That's my opinion. If you search coilovers in the suspension section on the main page you will find others options and more opinions.

thanks for the welcoming but ive been on here for a while i just dont post to much. i like reading. yea it is true about the admiration of the suspension that comes on it. i wanted coil overs for the fact that i can adjust them as i please. in houston the conditions can get a little rough. ive thought about the springs but i dont always want way low if you catch my drift.

also ive seen one person on here with the skunk2 coil over springs. i also recall him selling them. i have also heard ok reviews on the ground control. i may just hold off and get the injen cai.

Not trieing to talk you out of it just trirng to warn you that they lack quality. Ground Cotrol is your best bet if you are going to do it. If you do so get the caster/camber plates to so you can get a proper alignment and not cost yourself to much money in allignments.
