I am still in shock, this happened while parked on my block. I can only assume they tried to break in but I have nothing in view to steal so I'm not sure why they would target my 5. I dont even know how this would be fixed, I think its part of the door and its obviously not painted in the first place. I would love to figure out who did this and kill them dead.

I really think its going to have to be fixed by a body shop. The sticker is only $16 but the metal under it is part of the door I believe

Ouch, that sucks. But it doesn't look too bad, it could be worst.

I'm more concerned with the purp. I wonder if it is someone local who may have seen your backup LCD mirror.?. If you have nothing else visible, a Mz5 is a very unlikely target to steal. Let us know how bad the damage is.

Be glad it's not worse than it is. You'll find out if it can be replaced or repaired. You could always use a carbon fiber wrap-type material to cover all four of those surfaces. We'll help you find something, but you have to let us know how your talk with the body shop goes.

i would try to hammer it down a bit
and order one the pillar kits on ebay like this

but in black or carbon style it would hide the dent

Ashop should be able to smooth out the bendin the trim easy. Matching the matte paint (sticker?) may be the more costly part of the repair. If you could see what others have done to my Mz5, you'd feel just a tad better. :grumble:
