jeremy - id be in the same situation as you if i was in your shoes, and not saying that to make me get the hood. if i had to buy tires or struts now it would suck.

i dont need to buy tires YET, but i do need to spend some money to get my camber adjusted and front end aligned so i dont have to buy them.

im coming down on sunday to pick up the hood...ill be the laser blue protege without a hood until i get to vics.

got minz from summitracing.com. Paid a little over 500 for it shipped to my door. they have since gone up in price a little. They were really cheap to start out with like i wanna think a little under 400 for it plus shipping, then it went to like 459 or some s*** like that plus shipping and i got mine, now it is 499 plus shipping. They were the cheapest ones to get it from. As for now i dont know. Lemme dig up some photos.

you can get them off ebay for a little cheaper, mind you its not a APC hood, and its a factory look. Thats what i wanted to get away from, was people thinking it was just a primered factory hood.

just got the check in today, so now its absolutely CERTAIN im going to dallas on sunday to pick up the hood.

Yea I paid about $500 shipped for mine from Nopi.

Mine isnt going to be plain CF for much longer ... the side parts will be painted to match the car -- that way the MintBlue headlight eyelines will flow into the hood and then the hood into the fenders. Also, by leaving the center part of the hood CF, the hood will now flow down into my CF DGM grill.

What did you guys do to make the hood flush? I have one installed and I noticed that by the winshield area it arches up slightly.

i dont know if that is the problem, but youll see two screwable rubber stoppers near the radiator mounts...you can adjust them to adjust the height of the hood, but it might not adjust enough that you would notice in the back..but it cant hurt to fool around with it.
