Just trying to get my money back with these. I can't go forged just yet because of financial so I figured instead of keeping them to just let someone else use them.
I'm asking $220 shipped to the lower 48. Other areas I will get a quote for shipping.

They're BNIB so it's a steal

yes very. Billet rods and since they're long rods they put less stress on the engine

Can these be used stock? Will they change compression? (Looking at Wiseco Pistons, but "can they be used w/ stockers?")

from what I understand you need to get the wiseco pistons. I've never looked into running them with stock pistons. if anyone else can confirm that would be great

you will need to special order a set of Wiseco pistons made for long rods, regular wiseco pistons are too tall for the long rods if that makes sense. I believe the piston will actually come slightly out of the block as it reaches the top of the stroke.

so I'm thinking...not a good choice for a turbo build?

oh, they are definitely a good choice for a build, you will just have to special order the pistons for them which is no big deal. They should be the same price as the regular wiseco pistons. Long rods, like 570msp said, relieve some of the stress from the rotating assembly and the piston. Since the rod is longer, the angle of the rod is smaller as it rotates on the crank, resulting in less wear on the cylinder walls and the piston itself

If you go to wiseco's website you should be able to track down the pistons for these rods at stock bore size. I'm currently on my phone doing this right now so if someone could post the website that would be great. I'd just like to get these sold.

Im rather interested if you can get a part # for these. Wiseco makes custom pistons, and I'm betting the piston wiseco has in the catalog for this rod is a 9.0:1cr...and i'm looking more in the 8.8:1 area.

Further on spiceds post it improves high end breathing, allowing us to keep the torque that comes with having a long stroke while improving the impaired breathing that comes with having a long stroke.

The stock rods are good for about 7k-7200. At 7400 the engine basically starts falling apart due to the stresses on the engine. (Piston acceleration at those engine speeds is crazy).

This website has the part number for the http://www.importperformanceparts.net/imports/K1rods-all.html

Been running this rod with wiesco for 3 years untuned. highest spiked at 25 psi and still running strong. :)
