For those of you who are interested in how Mazda came up with the 2009 Mazda 6's Beautiful (IMO) design. It also speaks to some of the trade-offs and risks the design team had to deal with in respect to manufacturability and cost. Pretty cool. It gives me more respect for the effort Mazda puts into their designs for a non-exotic, mass-manufactured automobile with IMO very exotic design details.

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but natural lighting and the human eye always see things a bit differently than through the lense of a camera. Also those are Mazda Beauty shots and are taken under the best of conditions. Still to my eye it's a great looking sedan from all angles except the side at a distance. The 3/4 side angles and rear/front angles show this design at it's best. IMO

yeah what you are saying is true.. because when I saw it in person I liked the way the front and rear look good, but the only part I didn't like was the side.

Is this suppose to be the speed 6 version?

Not sure if that's the speed version. I don't believe they'll be building one though.
