Does any one know when installing the Lower Control Arm / Ball joint on a Protege 5 do you have to remove the Spindle / Axle and Tie rod? I had major clearance issues installing this thing because the Spindle wouldn"t allow me to install the chassis bolt into the Control arm Grommet without it being Cock eyed and it would never line up evenly and now the Threads on the chassis are stripped. Helly Coils and Tap and Die ? Any info on this is highly appreciated thank you!

That is the way I have done it. take the spindle, axle, and tie rod and this should give you room to work on it. Please keep in mind that the ball joint attaches to the spindle in the bottom and will need to be removed.
