Can't find a real answer here. What happens if you install i.e. Pioneer AVH-Z5200DAB with the car specific things like park sensors and settings as shown in the photo's
You will loose the ability to change all that once you install a new unit. I talked to the Crutchfield guys about it And they even gave me the number to the engineers who program all the car data for them. They also confirmed it. I’m in a similar pickle with my 2015 CX-5, but I think that I will go for it. Once initially changed, I have not needed to go in the at all.
