Nope! I got to be a Yankee fan back when I was stationed at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. (Do you know how long ago that had to be? Damn, I'm gettin old)

I'm originally from North Carolina - and we were forcefed the Braves - enough to make me hate the National League.

When I was in Kentucky - we were force-fed the Reds. Now I'm being force fed the Orioles and more recently the Nationals.

I pick my teams 'cause they play the game the right way, not just to be with the crowd.

My favorites are (in order) the Yankees, Red Sox, and White Sox. There's good tradition all thru those teams.

I went to the sox game on Sunday. Watched the A's hand them their ass in 3,000 degree heat in the direct sunlight. I left at the top of the 8th, tix were free, parking was free, there was no reason to stay for the torture.

I havnt been following as closely as i usually do, i used to be a big sox fan, but since i came here for school, and work at night, i miss all the games and when i get home all i do is try to sleep. Oh well.
The closest thing ive gotten to a game was walking by fenway when one was in the midst, and Shonda Schilling was just in the store for their ALS program, trying to get more people to support it.
