Idles like crap and dies

I took it off and cleaned it today, haven't replaced it yet though although I do have one I could put on. May try it tomorrow.
 
which egr do you have the canadian one is the one you need...i remember haveing issues with the car but once i replaced that egr it was money.
 
Well, can't believe it but I found the problem. On the bottom of the intercooler, the whole plastic piece that connects to the intercooler and then to the pipe has separated from the intercooler causing a major boost leak... Was hard to find because I always just thought the air moving down there was from the radiator fan blowing... Anyways, I'm psyched! 2 and a half months of work and finally get to enjoy the AWESOME reward of the labor. She runs great!

thats great! hopefully you didnt damage the turbo though, from what i know driving with a coupler off for too long can cause the turbo to over work itself and push oil past the seals. not saying its 100%, just saying ive read it and it sounds plausable because the compressor side is now not being compressed anymore

So As was said, you could have totally Effed the Turbo running open and free for so long..

It will spin out of control... and Kill the Bearing.
