Mazda, MSP Protege
Ok i get my car out of the shop today due to a bad crank pulley. So everyone tells me that this is why my car squeals while it is idling and i turn on my A/C but all of you ARE WRONG!!! It still squeals and i am shitting in my pants cause i have no clue what is a matter with my car. Mazda needs to get with it man! They even said they couldn't remove the rust or paint over my rotors in the back? WTF once again?!! I saw a forum in which people even said mazda is suppose to do it for you. I am so upset right now it is not even funny. These cars are suppose to be BRAND NEW! mine only has 2065 and it is not mistreated....well, you know what i mean!! any other suggestions on that noise!?? I am totally helpless here

You should call MazdaUSA about the rotors not being fixed -- that's :bs: and the stealership needs to be punished for it.

As far as the squeeling goes I have no suggestions other than it usually could be blamed on a loose belt. Also check your power steering fluid. Smarter people than me will have better suggestions, so listen to them.

maybe its the a/c clutch? You have taken it to mazda correct? If the dealer is giving you Bs. Call up Mazda NA and tell them that a new car should not make this noise and that the dealer needs to fix this under warranty and stop bullshitting me. I had to do this also, the dealer said the wheel locks were supposed to come in the glove compartment, I hung after arguing with the stupid woman. Called Mazda NA and they called back asking when was a good time to have them put on.

I did not think mazda painted over the rotors for you, I thought that was a diy.

Rotors rust. Why is this a problem?

Brakes convert torque to heat, paint would reduce their ability to disipate that heat. Why would you paint them?

this is for you girth - <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/mp5/mspsuck.gif">

but on a realistic note, what i would do, is find out a reputable place in your town, and take it them, a lot of places give free diagnostics...then take it to the dealership armed with knowledge of what the problem COULD be...dunno if that helps

make it look pretty i guess, it is hidious rust, my car has been sitting for 6 months due to a suspended license....got it back tuesday :), by the way what in the hell is a A/c clutch?

Another thing, how do you hardwire underglows for under your chair, i want to run my wires to my streetglows without blowing up the msp, any electricians up in here?

It's not the ROTORS that are rusting - it's the HUB of the rotor that is rusting. THAT is what Mazda will fix - there's a TSB for it so they HAVE to fix it if you request that.

And yeah, I 2nd what RazorP5 said (not the MSPs Suck part though, LOL). Take it to a decent mechanic (i.e. not a stealership) if for nothing more than a diagnosis of the problem. If it's nothing major I think you can even get warranty work done at a non-dealership. I could be wrong on that though.

search the car audio and electronics section. I am more then capable at answering your question but not here :D

mazdaspeed owners dont post in any forum but this one craig...thats why theyre always so suprised when one of us shows up...theyre like "the outsider"

Actualy to spend 8K and not remove the entire stock turbo is a big waste of time. The MSP will just be an MP3-T at that point :D

Don't pay to much attention to razor he's just having un.

yea yea, well i just want to be able to say i am running about 225 hp to the wheels with no problems at all...hmmm ::trying to figure up the cost:: :)
