30, married, 2.5 year old girl, a Beagle that wont shut up and that damn rabbit that I found in the street that wont stop bitting me every time I try feeding it(pissed)...oh, and my P5.
48 in a few days. Sold my second Miata for the P5. My excuse was to get a lower payment since my daughter chose an out of state college. The truth is that I just liked the car.
If they ever get the RX-8's pushed through customs (at least that's what I'm being told is the reason for delay), there will be another 50+ member of the group.
I've got kids older than the average age, it looks like, and I'm using my daughter's recent graduation to get me the $500 graduation discount (isn't she sweet).
The P5 reminds me a lot of my first ride, a 72 240Z.
40 years, not married and no kids that I know of. Single and looking big time. Anyone know a redheaded airline stewardess?
Bought the P5 a couple of weeks ago and enjoy it more each time I drive it. $14,490 out the door with 5 spd., cloth w/o moonroof/CD package. Really needs a turbo though. At least it will be getting 17 x 7 wheels to start with. Working on the World Challenge "look". Funny how the Honda kids chase after me more than when I was driving my Alfa Romeo 164. Too bad since I embarassed more than a few of them with the Alfa.
For the youngins' out here my ride when I was 18 was a '71 Camaro SS with big tires in back - N50-15 with D78-14 front, lopey 3/4 race cam, Holley 750 cfm double-pumper (any of you know what this is ), dumping gas through an Edelbrock Z28-type intake on a 350 ci small-block. Loved to rev 7000 rpm all day through the Hooker Headers with Cherry Bomb straight mufflers and no tailpipes. Color was too funky to say. Got 12 mpg which was considered very good. No brakes to speak of. Spent a fair amount of time in traffic court with this car and probably spent more on fines than insurance initially.
