Excellent instructions. First time changing brakes myself. With this post and the shop manuel; changing pads, rotors, and painting calipers was easy. I didn't have a impact gun, so breaking the lock tight and rust took some pounding with a mallet but everything eventually came off.
Quick question on the MSP rears...with the P5, the procedure after replacing pads is to turn the allen gear until the pads contact the rotor, then back off a 1/3 of a turn or so. If this is not done, the handbrake doesn't have proper clearance and doesn't work. With the MSP calipers, is there any post-pad adjustment to ensure the Pbrake works, or do you just put the new pads in and it all just self-adjusts?
