How to connect my iPod with factory Navigation

Hello everybody!

I have been driving my Mazda 5 for about a year and have been trying to get a fix to connect my iPod Classic and iPhone 3G to my factory Navi. Unfortunately the swiss Mazda Importer can't find a suitable connection. The iPod button is grayed out on the source menu and the iPod connection upgrade is only compatible with the stock radios but not with the Nav.

Could somebody help me to find a connector that would fit?

You need to search for a recent thread where this was discussed in depth. If you have nav and Sirius, then you need a splitter. If you don't have Sirius, then it's a simple kit that Mazda sells.

Thanks for the tip, i have looked through all the threads and have found these modules for the Mazda 5:

But, I have a 2009 Model with navigation without sirius. So i would have to go for the "Genuine Mazda iPod Integration Module". Unfortunately the model 2009 isn't listed, only 2007 & 2008. Will it still fit?
