HKS vs. Blitz

i have been pricing a turbo timer boost controller and BOV for my msp. I could get the parts from either company for about the same omount of money. My question is which would work better on my msp. which will increase my power more?

The BOV will not create power. It could stop boost leak, that I personally feel the stock BOV has. It also gives you the psssssshhht sound. Thats about it. The Power maker is the Bost Controller. It regulates the ammount of boost you run.

BOV: HKS SSQ I think 250-300 w/flange

the ssqv is the best bov on the market. it is a pull type valve, so it can't leak at all. the blitz timers have a separate display/control panel so they can be mounted virtually anywhere. the hks timers can be cheaper, i bought my type 0 today for $80 (still waiting on shipping). boost controlers, both companys make nice ones. HKS EVC, thats super tyte. and the SBC-ID V2 + PM-ID V2 combo from Blitz is godlike. if you are just looking for the boost controler without the power meter, thats cool too. the boost controler is the SBC-ID V2.

Yeah the HKS can handle extreme boost, but it's really sensitive for low boost applications

They have a version 3 out now for the Blitz SBC-ID. Wait a week and I will give you my impressions on it!

turbo timer - that's your choice, depending on what extra feature you want. they're all pretty much the same.

bov - hks ssqv definitely. the blitz is nice but it's just kinda boring sounding. just a loud puff of air. the hks has some character to it
