greddy is supposedly making one. no word on the hks. however if you're fine with 2.5" piping, you can get hks's axleback exhaust for the p5 and just have it lengthened a bit. otherwise go custom.
Greddy Exhaust System should be out late Sept... and for the sound of the exhaust... It's legal... It's just depend on the cop, if he's anal about it...
Thanks for the info. I live in South Carolina and our cops are not that picky about exaust sound. Hell we dont even have to have our cars inspected anymore. So that means we can tune to our hearts desire.
My friend in his 03' wrx got an greddy evo catback, sounds great. I mean you can tell its aftermarket by looking at it (oh really i didn't know the huge GREDDY logo gave that away) but its reeeeeaaalll quiet. It seems to be loudest at idle and you cant tell its on there without looking at it. I hope it sounds the same way on our cars I would love it to be like his.
it should sound about the same cause the turbo does muffle the sound of an exhaust alot but then again the Scooby engine sounds different cause of its Flat4 design. i happen to have the Greddy Evo exhaust on my civic si and it sounds nice low deep and bassy and is quiet when just cruising at normal speeds, so i recommend it. ive also heard this exhaust on a P5 and it was the same.
I cant wait to see pics of Ion's and Spoolin's completed exhausts. Thats my next upgrade but I hate buying things when I don't know how they will look. I wanna see how far it sticks out, how it look from behind, etc. No offence Kenetix, but I couldnt put an exhaust on that stuck out as far as yours Hope some people start getting there stuff done soon, I got money to spend!
