All the more reason to stick with PIAA, excellent customer service. My PIAA's burned out after a year so I called PIAA's customer service. Viola 3 days later, I had a new bulb delivered to me and yes they are brighter than the factory bulbs and they put more light where it's needed. Especially the H1's from PIAA, they're awesome.

Well, I was not there when you ordered your bulbs from them, but if what they say about all the non existing warranty and disclaimers before you checked out are true, then I do not see anything wrong with their customer service. My take on all of this is that you purchased the bulbs without warranty, so why should they offer you anything in return if they burn out? If you say you were told that they have a warranty, do you have that printed out anywhere? I know that if I purchase something without a warranty and it breaks or is faulty, then I am at the mercy of the company and do not EXPECT to be given any special treatment. If they do offer me something it is only a bonus.

As far as PIAA, I had contacted them a while back, and although I no longer have the email, they replied that all of their bulbs come with a 1 year warranty. So there you have it, stick with stock or PIAA.

One thing is this. YES
If I know what I know now. No way shape or forum would I have bought them.
And yes.
I will give you an example.
My company sells parts for medical equipment. One day a part that they said is not under warranty went bad.
I checked it out and yep the part was faulty.
My company replaced it.
And the part was only 75 bucks.
Now , they could of said tuff. But they want to keep good customer relation.
What would have been great is not being lied too.
But like you said if it was not in writing but still.

And then not even to say hey look , Its a grey market parts. How cow man are you kidding.
So Mike when you buy something from HKS.
And it like 500 buck and the parts fall apart.
You call up ad say hey, Oh well its a grey market part and oh well.
GREY MARKET.
Meaning they should not be sold over in the USA because they do not have the rights.
See why I am pissed.
So can I state that the company sucks. Yes there liers.

I live very close to you and I pass by Edison often but never seen a white Protege5 around.... I was hoping I can catch up with one of you guys in this board but so far no luck....
