HKS BOV still sounds like gobble.

for those of you who don't know what the turkey sound really sounds like, i'll try to post pics and a vid of my injen cai tomorrow. i'd have done it today but it rained all day....damn weather. my opinion, i like the turkey sound too...but i think after a while, it'll get a little annoying. i might switch out to a greddy type s or maybe a turbo xs bpv. does anybody know if you can recirculate the apexi bov? i like the sound. 
We'll upload the pics tomorrow when I come over since im on dialup now 
The reason I wanted to try the mbc (we r dumb, dex..lol) is so that it controls and releases boost instead of the wastegate making the gay noise. We can keep it at stock boost, I just want to see if the gobble gobble goes away.

grrrrr i missed the installation, the sound on the MSP, the pics, the quotes, i missed everything that happened today u guys!!! aaahhhh!! damn wish i woulda heard the gobble and the HKS going off at the same time. so r u still getting a BOV later on then Dex??

hmm i am thinkin about gettin the TXS RFL as a bov. should be pretty loud and non-turkey sounding.

looks cool dexter. but what's the black tube for? you're not recirculating so it can't be for that. also, did you just cut the reroute piping on the injen? any stalling problems?

the last pic is the metal part coming out of the injen that the stock BPV valve plugs into. it needed to be plugged up, and I wanted to use that nice metal stopper thing. but as you know, the injen part is metal, and the stopper is metal as well, but also much wider diameter. so we found some hose and hook that to the injen side, and then put the stopper in that. the hose didnt need to be that long but its from snowboys Jetta and we did not want to cut it.

i think you will hear the turkey no matter what if you have a CAI that really opens up the piping so you can hear the turbo and s***. with a stock airbox, you can bearly hear the wastegate, but with CAI its loud as ****, and thats what is making the turkey noise i do belive

ic ic, well hopefully someone else on here can add in their 2 cents as to getting rid of the turkey sound and i still think u should get a BOV in my opinion.
