i recently wrote another letter to Mazda saying how fed up I was with the list of problems that never seem to get fixed. I want results, and I've been waiting a long time for some things to get fixed.
Basically I said this to them.
Literally
You screwed up, you delayed the release, the cars came here not properly tested, we have broken radios, turbo's, pipes, bad ecu, etc., I hope for their sakes they sold all the cars in Canada because now that the word is out.....your screwed. All these other cars coming out now with less problems and are starting to attract a lot more attention to potential buyers, i know some have turned down their rx-8 orders with fear that Mazda won't fix something on them as well. The Word is out, Mazda does not fix their problems, or at least not fast enough, were going on 3 years for the damn clunk, and still nothing.
Something like that anyways.
If the ecu problem ever gets fixed, I'll send boostisgood a case of beer !
If I ever get the damn clunk resolved......I'm buying myselfone. Personally, I'm not holding my breath on either.
Oh, and Iwonder about the small percentage of people that do not have the hesitation, if they even realize what it is, or maybe their the type that never rev past 3k so they don't see it. It's pretty damn obvious in my car sometimes, although other times she fun as hell.
I had the same problem with the clunk. I'd ask someone if they had it....No they said, I'd get in their car and say.....yes you do, your just getting the start of it, and sure enough, few weeks later, they had the full blown clunk.
