Help with Mazda Protege Short Ram Intake

hey guys so i just recently purchased this short ram intake https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned) putting it on was breeze and it sounds and works great but my only concern is, it didn't come with any sort of bracket it to kinda hold it in place its just kinda being held on by the hose clamp attached to the throttle, do I need any sort of bracket to kinda keep it from moving? thanks for any help guys, I really appreciate it, I can also provide pics if needed. thanks again!

I think it should be fine as long as the hose clamp is on good. Don't quote me on that though, I may be wrong. IIRC my sister had an AEM short air intake on her Integra and I don't think it had a bracket, I believe it was just held on by the hose clamp.

you need to fab up a bracket with some AL stock fro HD and a no, you need to mount that somewhere too...check this pic out for a sample idea

I take it that this is a no name brand intake...thats why there is no brackets to hold the intake in place. I have a AEM SRI i'll post a old pic, sorry for the bad pic but i dont have the car with me to take a proper pic.

it also has a place the the little guy near the throtle can clamp to. i suggest zip tie that thing to a hose, but not to tight.

Mine just floats around,actually tucked it behind the brake cylinder thing so it doesn't move much
