What is the project about? Are you looking for other ways to contain the water, or are you dealing with the controversy of building the dam itself?

Exactly...do you need the dam to create energy, or just as a source to hold water? If the latter was the case, then what about water towers?

if you are comparing ways to control water.. aqueducts vs dams would be a good reports..
if you are doing ways to make energy (does that damn even make power???) then you may want to do somehting about that vs like a paddle wheel lil house on the prarie s***.
or if your talking about issues with buidling it.. amybe compare difficulties building that vs building something like folsom dam..

If you build a damn it gives you power generation ,and water for recreational use, water for irrigation. So if we didnt have dam's built what would be an alternative. Water from well's or what? Thats all i need to know

well water wheels could be used for power.. or just other powersources in general.. water towers + natural bodies of water for water storage and.. lakes and rivers for recreation.. and people could still build swimming pools. -=)

Thx Mypfizzle...i jus needed some ideas like that. it's gunna be 2-4 pages typed but that was jus one question about it. I got the rest covered..thanks again
