Help! Will I need to roll fenders?

Hi everyone,

After owning my 06 MS6 for almost a year, I am considering purchasing a set of used aftermarket 19x8 rims. The rims have a +45mm offset. Has anyone tried a 8" wide setup with a +45mm offset on their MS6 yet? (assuming that your new tire setup maintains the same overall height, but possibly using 225 or 235 width tires)

To those that have tried it, did it cause any ill effects (ie rubbing, fitment problems, wear and tear on other components)?

My car is not lowered right now, but I intend to do so in the spring of next year. Has anyone had to roll their fenders because of such a setup???

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have 18x7.5 w/ +48 offset with Autoexe Low Down springs and I couldn't use the 225's due to rubbing on the INSIDE of the rear fender wells under load. (I had my outter fenders rolled regardless just to be safe).

The other issue I had using 225/45/18's was the amount of clearance of the top front arm. With the 225's, I had barely enough clearance to slide my index finger safely between the tire and the arm. With 19's, I imagine the challenge would be more frustrating? I hope this helps?
