hey guys where can i find a good price for a set of rear rotors for a 2007 mazda5. i would like them to be oem mazda original parts. is $65 each a good price for original parts. and how much do you think a mechanic should charge me to install them. thanks

I think the only place you'll get OE Mazda rotors is from Mazda themselves...maybe try these guys

http://onlinemazdaparts.com/ looks like these guys are asking $65/rotor

As for what price a shop would charge, I was quoted $179 if they can machine the rotors or $330 is they need to replace the rotors.
I have no intention of having a shop do the brakes, I'll be ordering new rotors & pads from rockauto.com and doing them myself. Probably for less that $100.

I just went thru this. My fronts were about 2-3mm from squealing, but the rears have plenty of life on them, so I left them alone.
If I were you, I wouldn't confine my search for OEM discs. They are FoMoCo parts, and are probably seen on various iterations of Fords, Mazdas and Volvo FWD cars. The problem is, you really don't know who is forging the iron used to make the rotors. By now, OE could be from the lowest-bidder in some rinky-dink inland Chinese firm that puts out lousy, sub-par metal. I would look for rotors from a well-respected aftermarket part company that knows where the iron comes from. Just my $0.02, FWIW.
