Is it recommendable to take a screen made for headrests and install it in the visor? I've seen and heard people taking the screen apart and making it thinner but then the screen would be off center. I'm wondering if I can install it without the plastic case and still have a decent looking visor. I was looking at visor screens and they were NESA, the XO Vision and Gibson (I think) The cheapest thing I could find is 5" for $140 per screen. I can get 2 Legacy 5.6" Headrest monitors for $160/pair. I'm considering the headrests screens.

Anyone have pics of their car with screens in the visors?
Doesn't need to be a Protege...

I have never seen a visor screen
1. be installed and looked good.
2. One that perfomaed worth a damn at that price.

Also remember they can not be on if the car isn't parked, its highl illegal. Check the depth. Alot of headrest screens can be a few inches deep. If it doesn't come with a bounting bezel it isn't worth it since you will waste a but load of time trying to make the edges look good.

I only se 5 tiny pictures in the upper left that I can barely see.
