I'm hoping for a simple fix but I doubt it.

Every time I push too hard on the face of it it cuts off. If I hold it it will stay off untill I release it and it will come back on. It's one of the flip down ones where the cd goes in behind the face. So it is supposed to move but its getting annoying. It will also cut off going over hard bumps such as rail road tracks

I would like to fix it as it has an orange that's dead on with the dash lights in my 323. And I actually like it a lot, but it won't be the end of the world if its un fixable

You could. Have to get parts and fix it though...wether it's worth it, thats the question.

Just order a new one from Amazon.com without a flip or motorized face. I got a new Pioneer for about a third of what I paid for a Pioneer flip face to replace the first flip face Kenwood. Ribbon cables have to be one of the worst ideas ever for car audio.

I never really liked that it was the flip down one. I got it because it had USB aux and it could change colors. And when I did not that many had the different colors. Ill just buy a new one.
