Guage pod installation locations

Well, I ordered the boost guage, and a set of the NGK copper plugs for the old MSP today. Not to bad 61.00 after shipping from summit.

I am going to see if it is going to be worth messing with the center console this weekend,or if I should just break down and buy the piller pod.

Now I just have to get that MBC, and I'll be happy. Or at least until I get bored of that :)

Right now im in the process of "learning" how to fiberglass. Its actually coming along pretty good. Once I feel condifent enough NOT to f' up my car, I'm going to make a custom gauge pod for my boost gauge. Its going to go right above the tiny lil vent to the left of the steeringwheel, and will set back a lil more twords the pillar and angled twords the driver. Who knows if it comes out good, or if someone wants them I might make a few up just for kicks, and to prefect my fiberglassing skills :) I'll let ya know how it turns out in a week or so. Does anyone have a Straight on pic of the dash from in the car, I'll photochop something in that looks like what im going to do.

Well I have finshed making the insert to take the place of the old center console door. I had a few technical difficulties, but it should be all hooked up by tonight. I will take some pics of it and throw them up online.

I actually made it myself. Or I guess you could say tried to. It turned out ok I guess.

I will most likely be in the market for a full a piller guage pod in the future, but I dont have a lot of money right now, so I went the cheap route.
