Yeah Chevy has a VERY similar color called Bermuda Blue Metallic, I wanted to paint my truck that color, it looks cool I like it. Kinda like Mystic and Mystichrome from the 96 and 04 SVT Cobras.

I know. The main reason I brought this up was to see how many people got butt hurt and jumped on my nuts about me saying cops not having quotas. And like I said think goal, not quota. It's illegal for us to have quotas so we have goals. Same thing...different word.

and it's illegal to buy brass knuckles, but you go to the farmer's market and ask for "paper weights" and you can get them no problem!

same with switch blades! just ask for "spring assisted knives"...

ironically i watched a fellow POS flick on his lights this morning just to take off and go thru a red light... then proceeded to turn off his lights and keep driving on his way. its this type of thing that i see all the time that will constantly reinforce my opinion on the police. or better yet - when there's two crown victorians in the 69 position in a dark parking lot... what exactly are you accomplishing there? chattin it up with your buddies about people you pulled over? real productive! waste of my tax payer money.

Sounds like you live in a corrupt area, buddy. Everyone will always have their opinions of law enforcement until the day that they actually come in "handy".
I'm happy you're able to link a video of police brutality...that means nothing. For every video you post there are 10 good cops out there. If you have a problem with your local law enforcement get off your butt and do something about it. The cop that went through the light..why didn't you grab his car or badge # and turn him in. Regardless of what you believe it does make a difference. If you're not willing to take a step then you can't complain.
I'm not saying there are not bad cops out there..there are VERY corrupt ones out there just as presidents, civilians, politicians, priests, counselors, judges you just choose to harp on one thing.

This started as me simply saying there are no quotas in a clearly joking way and you turned it into an argument about power abusers and liars. No one here asked for your "input on this subject" you gave it yourself on a subject not even discussed.
That is like me asking what peoples favorite MSP color is and then you chiming in saying I HATE WHEN CARS IN A HUE OF BLUUEEEE...And then you "/end" your own argument.

Where I live (Detroit) and where home is (Toledo) are very different areas. Within 2 months last summer in Toledo I got 2 speeding tickets. Both with large fines. You will get pulled over for 5 over here. In ottawa hills a small city near here there is an openly proclaimed quota and commission system. No one drives there at the end of the month. My mom did and got pulled over and had reinforcements called for doing 25 in a 25. Because her fog light was improperly aimed. 4 cops met their quotas that day because they assisted at the scene.

In detroit, you can do illegal u turns, blow lights, not signal, and do double the speed limit and pass cops and you will not get pulled over. A cop experienced me doing a 0-75 pull in a 35 and just let me be. There is no funding and no quotas here. see the difference. Cops do whatever they want.

Like I said I do realize some cops do what they want. But so do you. If I see a speeder I don't always pull him over, it depends on his speed and the conditions. If the speed limit is 45 and he/she is doing 50-60 chances are he/she will be fine. You did a 0-75mph pull in a 35mph zone...If I saw that and it was on a back road and the driver clearly knew what he was doing I think I would let it slide. Now say a car pulled in front of you, or you lost control, is that the cops fault, too?

I will say that that's pretty funny no one drives at the end of the month, I can just imagine. That gave me a good laugh. And no, four cops did not get their quota going to your mommy, if one ticket was written one quota was met.

Ottawa hills is not a large area. It's easy to go around. But the roads are nearly barren the final 2 days of the month.

And why did they call reinforcements for an improperly aimed fog light on January 31st and when they wrote her a ticket and left, they all chuckled off?

Just my point is, in some districts, there are quotas to be met. I don't hate police or anything. In fact I'm considering switching my major to criminal justice. I just know that some areas do indeed have ticket quotas, though it my even just be on certain nights. The police officer that pulled me over said he normally would have let it slide because I didn't realize my speed as I was in a car with 70 profile tires compared to 45 and race coilovers and felt slower than i was, bUt said since there were layoffa and people thought they were gonna get away with more, each officer had to hand out 5 tickets on their shift.

See I like you. You're willing to see both sides of the argument and state your points without going overboard like biz who seems like the wannabe alpha male, whatever I say goes and everything I do is justified type of kid.

Look. Clearly you, biz, have either had bad experiences with police or just don't like them, which is unfortunate but fine. I can't speak for other police. I do know that I try everything I can to be fair and relate to each person and to do exactly what I am supposed to which is to protect and serve. I'm not out there to use my power against anyway or to make you pay huge fines, especially in this economy. I'm not in the job for the money so it's not my goal to rack up my tickets to work towards a raise or promotion, I'll take the longer route and work my way up by being fair and just. Maybe you could take a second to drop your bias and realize that not ALL Cops are bad.

when youre a 6 foot tall 145 lb white kid in the dirty part of detroit where if i sleep with my window open you hear automatic gun fire at night (hell i even heard 6 shots pop off at 9 am today), and own a car that yells "TAKE ME!!!", you learn to respect the cops, even if they dont give a damn about traffic.

i have heard stories of detroit police getting shot on 6 mile. im on 6 mile. if i go towards 7 mile, i see crypts signs sprayed, and if i go towards 5 mile i see blood signs lol. thank god for spiked fences.

Sylvania city cops are the crappy ones. township I can deal with. When I got pulled over after going to the last Mayberry car show I was outraged after I was ticketed. There where old cars running exhaust straight out the headers, drag slicks, and car with nitrous hooked up and I get pulled over going 20 in a 25. The cop requested back up before she got out of her car in the parking lot that I pulled over and another 2 showed up. They ticketed me for REAR window tint. Legal in Ohio, but not in Sylvanis district. I don't live in the Sylvanis district. They wanted to get me for the liscense plate cover, legal exhaust with a full cat, and no front plate. Instead just slapped me with a $120 rear window tint fine. She said I could retint the windows and show proof and just pay the court fee, but that would cost almost $300. So I decided just not to drive my MSP in or around that area. We take April's 2 instead. Not all cops are dicks though. I would say from personal experience about 25% of them are though. I've had a uncle being a sheriff, 3 cousins as town cops and they are all pretty cool including their other officer friends, but some just push little things too far. Yes the law is the law, but there are plenty worse things going on than me driving under the speed limit in a slighty modded MSP. Just my 2 cents.

I couldn't read all the pages so go back to yellow. I'll admit the Satin Black looks sick, but I prefer clean painted cars.
