ill be super jelly if you geta crx

I wanted an Eg hatch shell or Ek hatch but thats way too expensive for the budget that I might have to work with. My friend autox's a gutted crx with a built na b18 with ITB's and slicks and it is like being in a rollercoaster, Ill probably do a d16y7 Turbo, cheap to find parts, light and enough to get some good times.

still getting the car painted and I decided to go with yellow. I need some help though, Ive been searching for different kinds shades of yellow but if you guys have some pictures of a nice shade of yellow I would appreciated. As of right now Im going with Spa yellow from the early s2000's. So please help me out and post some cars painted yellow

the brand new TC yellow.

I always wanted the bluish green color they had on the Mazda3 back in 2003 (I think). Would look sick on a MSP. I'm still thinking about it when I get my car re painted.

So I ended up going with Velocity yellow from the newer corvettes, Im trying to get better pics that do the color justice, this is the only one for now till my friend takes some better pics. I sold the rotas and the msp's went back on they look so much better to me. The car is now going to be just my daily no autocross, dont want to mess up my daily, so I bought a CRX shell.

IMO it looked better before (and more unique)...

and to me, it seems like a huge waste of $ to have a protege painted considering a good full-body paint job costs half of what you're gonna get when you sell it. (unless you got a crazy paint hook up or something, then word)

I got a decent hook up but I left the engine bay and trunk the original msp yellow and the paint job was pretty much free considering the other guys insurance gave me a nice chunk of change for a small dent, I loved flat black but not as a dialy, I just wanted to get it back to as close to stock as possible

Looks good.
Just throwing this out there...There is no such thing as a cop and a quota that is something drivers make up as an excuse to them not doing "anything wrong". It makes them feel better about themselves.

Also, naturally a bright colored car does grab the attention of anyone not just law enforcement, but only law enforcement can make a stop. Do you really expect the person sitting in the next lane over to stop and pull you over? (fuoops)
And profiling is correct most time. A LEO can't just say "hey, a bright car I'm going to pull it over" There has to be reason for the pull over. And most of the time LEO's are correct that the 20 something male driving a "sports" car will have overly loud music, obnoxious exhaust, driving recklessly. The people that get mad at this and LEO's are they types that when they are hit by a red light runner then say "Where were you, cop? Why didn't you see him run the light?"

or the LEO's are the ones the flp the lights run the light, turn the lights off and then preceed to goto that gas station across the street. I've seen it done multiple times here in jacksonville... stero types exist for a reason on both sides.

Your talking about phantom blue. It was on Mazda 3s, 5s, and rx8s

damn thats a nice looking d-seires set up on your sig, and you are right my pink wheels were not to blame for my lack of sense and not wearing a seat belt. After the second ticket i got for seatbelt It made me develop the good habit of always wearing my seat belt.
and I love the way my msp's looks in its simplest form with just a nice drop on racing harts, I just gotta ger a sti lip and spacers and im done

Looks good.

completely wrong. cops in my area DO have quotas to meet, and get commission for each stop they make, and a brightly colored car gets pulled over a lot more often than darker ones.

... no. u mad bro? change your tampax...

TRUTH. i even have a friend of the family who is a semi-local cop and has vouched that there IS quotas. but i mean, how much more obvious can it be when there is just ONE day where you see 10+ people pulled over on your way home from work, where as on any other day you see maybe 1 or two at most...

No one is mad here, bud. Try again. There is no quota however you may "look" better if your cap sees you're out and about more writing tickets. Take it from a full time officer.... Not a reserve. Some departments have quotas for traffic stops but NOT tickets. And I don't think there needs to be an explanation as to why sometimes you see more cops with cars pulled over than other days. Why is it some mornings there are DUI checkpoints? Why are there sometimes drugs stings?
Think goal... Not quota. ;-)

I'm telling you man, in my area, there are quotas to be met. Our family is very close with our police chief here. He has told us. Theu even hsve nights where cops go out and have ti write a certain number or tickets. The officer that wrote me a ticket that night also verified that.....

I know. The main reason I brought this up was to see how many people got butt hurt and jumped on my nuts about me saying cops not having quotas. And like I said think goal, not quota. It's illegal for us to have quotas so we have goals. Same thing...different word.
