Going Back to Yellow!!!!

So the other day my car was parked outside a house while we were checking out a car for my brother, after checking out the car I drove to work and before I went in to work I notice someone backed into my rear passenger fender. It was not bad but to make a long story short, it was an older guy that was visiting a neighbor at the place we were checking out the car and his insurance gave me more than I expected. So for the past few days I’ve been tossing the Idea of other colors or going back to yellow but a different yellow, especially since everything door jams and engine bay are still yellow. I can’t load pictures of the fender but I’ll try again tomorrow. Do you guys have any thoughts or suggestions with what color,what yellow to go with or any comments I appreciated?

The Blazing yellow on the MSP actually looks pretty nice as you already know but i'm not a huge fan of Yellow cars. Maybe spicy orange or something completely custom thats never been done before.

Thanks for the suggestions, im leaning towards yellow just in case I ever decide to sell it. But Im going with a custom yellow( I hate Blazing yellow, no offense to who ever likes it) since I wont have to paint door jams etc. I really wanted to do something that has never been done but my buddy has his own shop and he said he would give me a great deal if I just do custom yellow so he doesnt have to paint the jams, bay etc. If I do decide to go with a different color he wont be able to hook it up with the price too much since its a LOT more work to paint jams and bay.

Yea I love the flat look also but since at this moment its still my daily, it is a pain to keep it half way clean. I wash the car and it gets dirty in like an hour lol. Im thinking also since wrapping a car is becoming more available, I take advantage of this pretty much free paint job that this small fender bender gave me, painted somewhat close to stock and in a year or so when it becames my weekend car I will wrap it flat black and if i decide to sell it I have the option to put it back to yellow. Sorry for the back to back post

or a super dark gray almost carbon fiber colored...

if i had the $ i'd def paint mine some unique cool color... probably white.

however, if i ever saw a yellow MSP that was a different shade of yellow i'd just think "damn that must of got wrecked real bad and they didn't match the paint at all when they fixed it".

flat black >>>>>>>>>>> yellow though. just pay them to re-do the flat black and do the door jams/engine bay... and get a nice overall clear coat so it'll be easier to clean.

I was thinking seca blue but It might be a little to flashy?? even though yellow already is pretty flashy. As far as white goes I dk never been a fan of white. The new yellow tc does look pretty nice but I would have to see it up close. If you guys find any pics of different cars done in seca blue or a nice yellow like the s2000 spa yellow I would appreciated. Again thanks for the comments

things have changed a bit. no roof scoop.. no 16" wheels. you'll all see it soonish. but there's ITR white w/ pearl blue.

I get what you are saying but I hated the attention I got from the Pink wheels, I got zero attention when the car was yellow and I get alot of attention now from having a matte black car but when you have pink wheels and you drive into a job interview or your regional manager sees you out in the parking lot and sees you get into a car with pink wheels, its hard to take someone serious. I dont know if I make anysense but it makes sense to me i guess

I thought the same but I get more attention with matte black, I even had a grandmother at the airport walked up to me and ask me if the car was painted like that or it just wasnt finished yet. She liked it though lol
