How many kms are you guys generally getting per tank of gas? Before it was getting cold, I was geting about 500-520...somtimes 490 if I drove hard that week. lowest I've ever seen was 490.......until it got cold. Last tank was 470. This tank I got now, looks to get worse.
Hey Newf im one of the few guys on here that might understand KM's ha ha (being a Canuck and all)...I was getting 550+ to the tank or thereabouts...although a lot of my driving is highway into and out of Toronto...im a little lower, but im sure itll drop to about 500 once it gets cold as a bastard!
im getting around 24mpg i dont understand the metric talk when i had a flat and had my doughnut on i was getting like 33mpg. since i drove it so slow
thanks guys. 550 kms seems on par with what I get. Since I live in a small town, I do mostly city driving. ON the highway I go above 550 myself. But, I haven't had the car long enough to know the highway drving much.
My mileage I think it terrible, the last tank I got about 400 Km for 45 liters roughly. That is terrrible.
I think I am getting about 23 mpg country driving, or hwy driving.
Don't know why but the mileage just doesn't seem right. I drive it hard, but this is a little stupid right now. I am thinking I will wait until I put 8000 Km on it and after my first oil change before I complain.
good lord, some you shift early as hell. I drive about 45 miles a day and don't fill up for 2 weeks. I don't shift outta first until between 6500 and 7000(when the limiter kicks in)RPM. I have an intake also but my car runs rich. I usually run through the the gear before shifting too. Oh and for a safety note: Don't pop the clutch to cause a burn-out in 1st. Doing so can shatter the flywheel and send it up through the floorboards. Not a pretty site.
