My wife opened the right sliding door yesterday and leaned on the vertical rubber seal and POP!!! 2 pins fly out. They were broken of course. I was mad as hell but kept it quiet. Got online and ordered 25 pieces from eBay for $13 including shipping. Should get them next week. I never popped even one out. She popped 2 out at once. What the heck? Oh well I will get them soon. 25 at that, so my wife can pop awa all she wants...

Got a link to where you found them on eBay? I need a few boxes of 25 myself... I keep losing them.

Waiting on the shipment:..

Hey phunky.buddha, did you order your 25 pack yet? I am waiting on mine, should come this week. So excited. No more flapping rubber seal!

Got them finally today...

Got the 25 pack of pins today and popped all the missing ones in. I was missing 3 of them. They went in perfectly. They do not seem to be Mazda brand but they look exactly the same and I can't tell the difference. I am very happy. I have 22 more hahaha. Anybody need some. $2/pin LOL. That is about what the dealer charges.

Are these the pins for the rear sliding door seal (see pic)? I've been missing 3 since day one but haven't had any new ones fall off. If yes, anyone want to loan me 3. Will send them back when I'm done with the car :D

I can't "loan" you any, but if you care about the car you will order some. They are not that expensive. Here are some links to reliable ordering sites. You get a 25 pack:

https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Mazda_Weatherstrip_Retaining_Clips_BP4K_58_762_p/a21307.htm

I ordered from the company's ebay store, but I think it's all the same store, when I look at the package. It's all the "clipsandfasteners" store.

Nice! I have a few missing on both sides. Thanks!!!

Oh, so I did get mine last week- they clipped in and look just like factory. I stashed the box in the rear compartment in the side of the trunk for easy access when I lose another clip.

You won't if people don't grab the rubber piece or put pressure on it.

I need a sign that says do not touch the b-pillar seal. I always wondered why it's called the b-pillar?

Because it's rear of the A pillar? A pillar = vertical post at the windshield, B = rear of front door, C = rear of back door, D = back of car.

They cost over $3usd at the Dealer... I got the Part number, but all the pieces I saw for sale on the web all looked too big, so I just got three from the dealer to make my wife happy. If any more break, I'll be ordering a bag of them from somewhere.
