As it says, when i took my intercooler off today I found oil on the intercooler coupler and top of the turbo. Ive never had any smoking issues and have no exhaust modification. Should I be concerned?
i had that same issue before and i took it to mazda, they said its normal for these cars cause they checked a few other speed6's they had in the shop and they were the same.
I had the samething on mine , just cleaned the hose with brake cleaner . BTW no oil in the intercooler and in the throttle body coupler . I will check it again in a few weeks .
all turbos will release some oil residue in the charge piping which is normal. it typically finds a place to pool and makes it look worse than what it is.
if u didnt colloect any in the Intercooler that could be poured out. then u have nuthin to worry bout
