Floormats

Does the speed6 have all weather floor mats??

I really need some big time, I can't seem to find them..

Would the regular 6 floormats that are all weather fit right and be the same for the speed6?

can't get "mazdaspeed6" mats that i know of, not from mazda anyway. the "mazda6" all weather mats are what you need. they ran me 55ish right thru my local dealer. might be able to get them cheaper online tho.

Nope, you just get the standard 6 all-weather mats. Very nice, hold snow/water in place and don't make a mess.

One thing to remind everyone, don't run one mat on top of the other, it can get stuck under the pedals or slide up too far.

Theres two optional lips around the edges.. they just round and powdercoat the edges.. so no.. or theres a 3D clear border.. i guess rubber or plastic so i think so.. if not.. they will just be my summer mats and i will get the rubber standard 6 mats for winter.

therpmstore.com has diamond plate floor mats.. i think they are very cool and they will be my christmas gift from myself this year.. i will post pics when i get them.

tell me what you guys think.

Those look really tacky to me. I'd skip them, especially for $150.

Weathertech also makes all-weather mats for the 6/MS6, and they run about $80 for a set. Same design with the raised lip for water retention and design. If you look around online you can find the OEM all-weather mats for a little less though.

im not sure.. i wish someone had a pic of them in the car.. to me it seems like it would be a nice touch next to the metal in the door sills with almost the same design.. Killerbee's Protege has them in it on one of the MOTM.. it doesnt look too bad.. he actually won that month.

Totally agree. It sceams Fast & Furious to me.

The diamond plate design looks really ricey to me. I don't like floormats that stand out, kinda defeats the purpose. It's your car, but if you're going for the subtle look, these really aren't the way to do it.

Thanks for your opinions i think you guys talked me out of it.. i deff. dont want to go for the Fast and Furious look.

I scored a set of lightly used ones from my local junkyard for $20 (plus carrying the heavy things from the back of the lot).

I snagged some winter floormats from Canadian Tire when they were on sale, 2 front mats and rear mats for $24... Not a bad price and they're Michelin. Can't complain...

I once saw somewhere online for about $200 they custom cut you winter floormats, front and rear, out of any material and in car, designed specifically for your car. Fit's perfectly so nothing gets on the carpet... A bit pricey for me.
