flickering lights from my radio?

I was driving my 5 today and I thought I saw the lights on my radio flicker. So while sitting at a drive through I had time to investigate this. Every now and then my center console (the part with the cd player) flickers. I don't think that is normal, the rest of the car's interior gauges and such don't seem to be doing that. Am I going nuts?(drunk)

I've had this problem as well. It was the dimmer switch. All I had to do was adjust it and that fixed the problem:
