Need some eyes to review photos and ask for further assistance on what he means with the shifter pin. Take a look at the 1st and 2nd photos and what is written below. The car is a Kia but the steps are the same to replace a solenoid for Mazdas like ours. Can someone explain better what he means by "insuring that the shifter pin is in the "key way" slot between the 2 metal circles? Otherwise, the car won't go in reverse, only forward in ALL gears.
