Flashing Check Engine Light

the check engine light is flashing read code for misfiring cylider #2 car ran fine when i first got it have had it for about 2 months put about 7000 miles on it an started to bog an misfire please help any ideas

Pull the plugs and inspect...
Could be a smashed sparkplug electrode from a intake mani butterfly screw which may have actually not done any damage except a sparkplug or maybe just a bad ignition coil or plug wire.

plugs are so cheap I say just pull them and replace regardless lol

Flashing CEL is a warning of Catalytic Damage. Happened to me and car ran like crap. No accelereation, no power. My problem was coils. I replaced them and that was the end of that. I also replaced Spark plugs at the same time because they are cheap.
