Why dont you just let the ones who can teach you a thing or three give you the correction you need

The Tri-Point Protege Turbo Kit, Aerodyne variable vane Turbo/ Tri-Point

The complete Kit sells for $3800.00 and @ 8psi engine produces 210 plus

Clutch Kit $354.95 or add our Aluminum Flywheel for $699.00 complete
package.

/me grabs the wheel and steers this thread in the right direction.

SOOOOO... the kit's doin great! Needs some tweaking, and I'm still trying to get them to put the final version of the downpipe on my car, cause the welds on this one are nasty lookin'. I also am looking into upgrading my brakes as well (going fast is the easy part, it's stopping that's difficult ;) ) As of right now I can boost up to 10-12 psi no problem, but that's if I really push it. We're not running any extra fuel/injectors, just colder plugs. The motor pings a little at high boost levels, so we'll probably introduce that FPR to the motor this week.

I know, I know... someone's gonna b**** about me running that much boost without extra fuel, but the car's run rich to start with, and I only get to 10psi+ at 5K, so it's not a constant lean-out. We'll add the FPR in a few days... :D

Damn!!!!!

you got big nuts!!

Well how is it running? no problems so far? man dont u think that psi is a little excessive for no intercooler and timing/fuel control? atleast we will see how strong our motors are through your research and development..........you are a brave jedi:D

Hey sorry about not linking up with you on the dyno.......I was in key west on my days off. I just got engaged(omg) so I was tight on time and dynoed the car 2 days ago. I only got 2 runs in 203hp/213tq so I need more time. I am going to a wedding in pensylvania for the next week but after that I am down to dyno with you
later

Why not try to help instead of just demeaning the whole thread.

I enjoy helping out anyone who asks...but...theres no point in feeble remarks like "...Ill leave you in the dust, and thats a promise." THAT is childish...especially after his earlier post about the t3/t4 spooling 10psi @ 2000rpm...attitudes like that need to be corrected...better by a fellow Protege owner than somone else.

Id be happy to answer any questions you have about forced induction SlowyellowP5....if you feel the need to ask...otherwise Im sure there are plenty others on this board that can inform you also, good luck with your turbo plans.
